Muhammad Syauqillah, Ph.D., is a prominent Indonesian scholar and policy expert specializing in terrorism studies, counter-extremism, and global security. He serves as Head of the Terrorism Studies Program at the University of Indonesia and holds a key leadership role in counter-extremism frameworks associated with the Majelis Ulama Indonesia.
Dr. Syauqillah has contributed through extensive publications, conference engagements, and advisory roles. His research addresses foreign terrorist fighters, online radicalization, and deradicalization strategies, and he remains active in global academic and professional networks focused on contemporary security and policy responses.
